Prenatal Yoga Classes with Lisa Pedersen teach and reinforce numerous benefical and therapeutic techniques. Controlled breathing, visualization and relaxation, combined with yoga poses allow you to tune into your inner rhythms, strength and wisdom. Experience relief from common pregnancy ailments, gain confidence from fellow pregnant women and ready yourself for the most optimal birthing experience possible!

Part of the Mindful Beginnings® childbirth education includes:

• Emotional and physical milestones for birthing
• How to best advocate for yourself and your baby's birth
• Developing a birth plan
• Ways to encourage your baby to move into the best position inside you for birthing
• Different ways to breathe during labor, including yoga breathing
• Releasing your past psychological pain to be more present for birthing
• Yoga positions for birthing and for post-partum recovery
• Meditation~guided imagery strategies for birthing

Yoga of Parenting

Bond with your baby, deepen your parenting skills and build better relationships with yourself, other women and your role in this community. Practice 30 minutes of yoga and then finish with a 45 minute discussion on a variety of parenting topics.

Before attending a private workshop with Lisa, you'll need to download the registration and liability form. This form is for Mindful Beginnings® private yoga/pilates clients, doula clients and birth workshop clients. Alive and Well and Lyfe Yoga Center have their own registration forms for those that wish to take a prenatal class with Lisa Pedersen in either of those locations.
